JB's return put CBB on the hot seat

The opportunity and expectations for this team led by a returning Senior and All Acc player were very high and rightfully so. If CBB can't coach this group to an NCAA berth, then it is further confirmation that he isn't the guy for the job. Earlier in the season, they looked pretty good, but have actually regressed since Thomas became eligible. With his lack of enthusiasm, energy and basic coaching skills CBB has lost this team and the fans.

At the end of games, he looks like he is hoping we will win, rather than actually injecting himself into the game. With the game on the line, how can you go multiple possessions and your best player doesn't touch the ball? Meanwhile, we are slinging up threes rather than attacking the rim with JB in the paint and getting to the line, which is a strength. I'd understand it if JB had it in the post and the defense collapsed and he was kicking it out for open shots, but our MO is to set a few high ball screens and take a contested three that is a very low percentage option.

As the Football team demonstrated,

they don't give you an award just because you had a good year last year.

Its time for JB and Grantham to pick up their play significantly.
