they're way off, cause we have not recruited 3 yrs in a row with this kind of talent, except maybe Danny. With all this talent Dabo can't help but win big. Future is gonna be very fun to watch. Have we ever had 12 4 star and 1 5 star? If Adams signs that will be 2 5 star. Not to mention 2 5 star coord. Dabo is the man, keep talking crap about him coots, cause he wilol be your daddy, just like every Clemson caoch has been. Remember Spur sack was 1-3 in his 1st 4 years too.

did they rate recruiting classes back then?

honest question as i was not alive :)

Obviously there was no internet, but wasn't sure if there were recruiting magazines or something similar.

recruited last year, this year and years to come with out falling off. Bowden had some great recruiting classes but couldnt back them up with great recruiting classes year after year.

Bowden recruited well with what he had to work with. Sure he had a nice stadium and the hill, but he recruited with metal lockers from the seventies the whole time, and certainly no West end Zone or indoor facility being built. Its amazing how nice the facilities are now. They really look good.

Guy has built some great facilities at Clemson that paved the way for Dabo

1. Hired Dabo
2. Built facilities
3. Laid recruiting foundation
4. Taught Dabo the value of Christian character in coaching and recognizing same type families to recruit.
5. Recommended Dabo for his replacement.

Dabos down fall. Too loyal to coaches that couldnt get it done and to proud to admit it.

I only wish he had made sure Dabo knew how to kick sc butt like he did.

Hopefully Dabo has learned that for himself after the past three years.
