It's been a long time

Jan 13, 2020, 10:12 AM

since Clemson fans have approached a game ready for a fight.

We have developed a quiet arrogance and trust that our Tigers will figure out how to come out on top every game.

This morning on the board I sense that everyone posting is ready for an absolute battle with LSU.

I hope our team in NO and the fans who are there with tickets have the same feel as those who are on the board this morning.

I still feel that we have a confidence that we will come out with a win, but it seems everybody has a slightly different state of mind during the wait today.

This was missing vs OSU and the slow start indicates maybe the team was the same way.

I love what I'm seeing and hope the Tigers play at a level above anything we have every seen!

Go Clemson Tigers! Bring it home tonight!

I have also seen and heard a level of hubris with LSU. I think if they have been imbibing these messages from the syndicated talking heads like Findbalm, that will be their undoing. I have an idea that they believe their offense cannot be stopped by anyone but GOD. In this belief, they are sorely mistaken and Jeaux Burreau will be brought low by his own torpid belief in 'destiny'. Effort and service to others is what lends competitive advantage to Championship programs and Clemson is the model for this. Clemson Football lives and dies for each other. LSU is a corporate entity that will fold in the face of adversity because there is nothing to support it but a motive for personal profit, which is empty! GO TIGERS!!!!!

Indeed...God is on the side of the Clemson Tigers....

If there is a god, I hope he is paying attention to more important things than a football game.

That has been my hope since the semifinals ended.

Everybody is talking about the huge advantage LSU has from playing a home game which is probably true.

But my hope is that they wouldn't be able to get away from all of the "hometown" noise while preparing for the game.

I have noticed their players' supreme confidence during media sessions and I am hoping that is shifting to arrogance as kickoff approaches.

Just under 10 hours until we find out how their team has handled everything.

I hope they come out underestimating us.

It's called having an edge due to feeling slighted. Our boys will play with it tonight.
