Is Notre Dame afraid of the SEC & Big 12?

Sep 26, 2014, 4:22 PM

They play 3 teams from the ACC, 3 from the Pac-12, & 3 from the B1G 17 somethin or other.

Do they play 3 from the SEC & Big 12 next season or whut?

There are no divisions in the 15-team ACC basketball conference if that's what you're referring to.

Are they in the ACC for any other sports?

What about rowing?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Not in the Atlantic or Coastal divisions ....

Sep 26, 2014, 4:50 PM

maybe the Conference division?

I'll keep digging. Maybe the Big East Conference will have some information since ND used to be over there. Anyone have the Big East number?

Here is ND's Future Schedule..Also, they are into exposure

Sep 26, 2014, 5:35 PM

http://www.fbschedules.com/ncaa/indep/notre-dame-fighting-irish.php

They do have UGA coming up.

Everyone wants ND on their schedule...They have a contractual obligation to 5 ACC games, Stanford, Southern Cal and Army/Navy.

ND has been brilliant in their scheduling....They now will have a footprint in the South going down to Florida up the East cost while also covering the West Coast and Middle part....they recruit nationally and the Catholics around the nation follow them.

Even as much as I dislike them, Traditionally, ND has

Sep 26, 2014, 5:57 PM

played a strong schedule. Joining the ACC and having to play 5 ACC games, the conference scheduling group will undoubtedly having them playing 2 or 3 decent teams and a couple of Wake/Syracuse-type games. In point of fact, they're playing 'Cuse on Sat.

Have to agree with that, playing games down here...

Sep 26, 2014, 5:58 PM [ in reply to Here is ND's Future Schedule..Also, they are into exposure ]

and winning those games will help them with down south recruits. Which is why they didn't want anything to with the Big 10, because the midwest is in down cycle as far as producing talent.
