Issue at Center

If we don't find someone who can snap the ball to Watson, we're going to either lose a game or get Watson killed.
We lost to F.S.U. last year on a high snap and Watson took a big shot against App. St. yesterday because of a high snap. I watch a good bit of football, and I don't see snapping the ball to the quarterback as a major issue for most teams.

this is one of things the coaches say is correctable, yet it never gets taken care of.

Putting Norton on the bench

Might correct the issue. He seems to be a common thread on the high snaps.

This isn't an issue to be funny about. I see it as a very serious problem. There were two times yesterday when the snap was early and hit Watson in the gut. Fortunately he is able to react quickly but this will cost us big time if help isn't found.

Must really bother some of you when we move up 3 spots into the top 10 to where we have to nit pick on every little thing that isnt perfect.

Our center snapping the ball over our QB's head

Is more of an ongoing issue than a one time thing against App. St. It does bother me when we blew a chance to play in the ACC Championship game because of a high snap, and the issue doesn't appear to be corrected.
Or maybe you enjoy high snaps. I understand certain type of people do.

Good point, except this has been an issue for a couple of years now, and not just FSU. It has cost us games, and it can cost us again. As far as the hate towards Norton last year, that was definitely uncalled for however. He is a young man that I am sure is doing his best. I thought Jay was better last year, and has played better this year, as far as snapping the ball. Is he the better player? I guess not if coaches have not played him over Norton. Still, it IS a problem, almost as big of one as QB2 is. I'm thrilled with the win, im ok with the ranking. Not nit picking, but those errors are drive killers at best, game losers at worst. I don't want the start of a magical run to end because of a bad snap. All that said, Go Tigers.

You can over come a bad snap against Wofford. Perhaps not against the Tigers next few opponents. One mistake like a bad snap and the Tigers WILL NOT be in anyone's top ten! There was at least ten or twelve yesterday. That is not big time football.

I've got the solution to snapping woahs at the 1.
O (HYATT) O (Guellermo) X (NORTON) O CROWDER O (MaClain) O (C. Smith) O (Willm-son) O (Wilkins - LeadBlocLeft) O (Lawson- Lead Block Right) X(Ray Ray)
X (Cain in-case of bad snap - if it's a bad snap he can hit Williamson on the out - could use Mike Williams, when he healthy)
Play Name: Heavy-Weight
Hypothesis: Will work well in short yardage downs or goalline approach.
Options out of play call - Made by Ray Ray : - Indirect snap to Wilkins - Indirect snap to Wilkins where we run option with RR and Cain - Direct snap to Ray Ray - touchdown - Options Ray Ray out to receiver, Cain takes over as QB ( one of the ends becomes safety net) - Complete Option, where we go Iso and Reader becomes FB, Cain to receiver and Wilkins to TB. - many more, ceterius peribus.
Overall Aim:
- Prevents doing FSU all overagain at the 1.
Thoughts:
Do you think a linebacker would want to meet Wilkins coming in full-speed? Would this decrease risk portfolio of snap? = more points over many attempts.
