Is the price for top deck tickets worth it?

Posted: Oct 16, 2012 9:18 AM

I am not the most fortunate when it comes to finances but I am trying to take my son and wife to their first Clemson game. The tickets are usually $65 and I am wondering what the view is like. What do y'all think?

Yes, we have one of the best upper decks . View is amazing***

You wouldn't happen to have a picture of the view would you? I looked at the app they had on one of the websites and it didn't seem realistic.

Here's a pic..

You'll remember it as your first game with your family, not where you sat...trust me.

It's a good vantage point to watch the game and you might have a great view of the mountains.

Ok coot, I am glad you are turning your life around. Getting away from the dark side is always a plus. I would compare it to converting from a devil worshiper to....... well anything else. As far as Dabo, he should be your hero. It can't get any worse than pulling for the ole ball sack coaching the USuCk GAYmeCOCKS right. Keep up the good walk and just maybe you can stop hating life so much. GOOD LUCK and yes GO TIGERS!

Like you, the Honey Badger was confused, but it seems he is getting his life together...maybe he should be your hero

great view to watch special teams coverage and pass plays develop.

The view from the Top Deck is awesome.

We sit in TDE, row S (about halfway up). The hike sucks, but the view is awesome. They are good seats. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the seats. Those say otherwise are uppity! ;)

I'm close to the railing in Top Deck North and

I definitely would not change to lower deck. As the above poster said though half way and up is not great on a routine basis because I was there in the past.

All of this is great info

Thanks alot.

Top deck has great view!***

Not to mention, the first 5 rows have built in seatbacks.

Posted: Oct 16, 2012 9:59 AM

Of course my tickets are on the 6th row, but I love the view. Can see everything develop on the field and you can also see the mountains and Hartwell (when it's up) in the distance.

As long as you're not in the corners and are in the first 2/3 of the deck, I think they're great seats--especially the south upper deck. It's hard to see misdirection plays and fakes develop sometimes because the ball is so small, but otherwise I never had a complaint about the seats. My biggest issue is how long it takes to get down to the field afterwards--much of the time it's not worth it because it takes such a long time, so the kids miss out on a fun experience.

Get southside corner of west end zone in lower deck.

Shaded for most of the game, good view, and sit near the athletes and recruits.

Definitely! I have sat in the South Upper Deck since it was built. I am on Row C and would not swap it for lower deck. For the GT game I actually sat in the lower deck on the North side(Row KK). I would not swap sitting that low and facing the sun for my South Upper Deck seats.

If you are going to go upper...

Posted: Oct 16, 2012 10:51 AM

I would suggest (as others have alluded to) South Upper. You will be looking for sections TD A through J. The hill will be on your right. The sun is directly in your face just about anywhere in the North stands. You'll still have the sun on your left side if you are in the South stands, but it won't be directly in your eyes.

I like upper

I'm on row I. Nice view

I love my view from top deck south...i'm on the 3rd row***

nothing wrong with Upper.

and don't let the pic persuade you bc it doesn't look that small. I used to sit up there more often than not. I just got lucky the last 2 years with lower deck season tickets.

You certainly don't have to pay that kind of money for

Posted: Oct 16, 2012 11:25 AM

upper deck tickets outside the stadium. I don't even pay that for lower.
