that tiger's light-bulb eyes and wagging tail were state-of-the-art in college football multi-media entertainment.
PS: At my first game (age 10), I watched those eyes light up and that tail wag three times as the Tigers upset the visiting Yellow Jackets by a score of 21-17. I was hooked.

The first time I saw him was in 1967 when I was in third grade. I loved him then and knew and I never wanted to go any where else. He is part of our history and you never know what new memories are started by someone seeing him for the first time. To this day he is the first thing I look at after a TIGER score! go Tigers!

When I was a little kid coming to my first games with my older brother (mid 70s) I actually got excited when we would score because this guys eyes would light up and his tail would wag.
Funny, the things you remember.

I remember My Dad's excitement first pointing out the Tiger's eyes and tail to me as a boy in the 70's. I've done the same for my boys. My Dad is no longer here to see it, but I'm betting he's watching from above - every time Clemson scores!!!
