Tree removal

May 16, 2017, 2:15 PM

Just had a large oak taken down yesterday. I'm going to split and keep a cord for myself but there will be at least 2-3 cords left over. Does anyone have any experience selling/giving this #### away?

I do yes

May 16, 2017, 2:18 PM

The company I paid to cut the tree down took it with them.

in my experience, fire is the best way to get rid of wood

May 16, 2017, 2:19 PM

I suggest a few handles of your favorite brown liquor, a REALLY LOUD stereo, some of the FINEST Black Sabbath tunes available, a healthy amount of gasoline, and a match or two.

split into fire wood size. Sell by the truckload for $70-80

You know, when you stop to think about it...

May 16, 2017, 2:24 PM

ALL wood is already 'fire wood size'.

May 16, 2017, 2:32 PM [ in reply to Re: Tree removal ]

do such a thing. However, I'm a nice guy and am willing to pick split wood up at no charge so he can simply be done with it. Even load it myself.

May 16, 2017, 3:15 PM

and I never realized how much of an issue it would be to renew it until I got a form in the mail that indicated that I already missed the due date and there were all these penalties and fees and shyatt. Sent the missus to talk to Clemson city people and broker a deal and she was able to pay the base fee with no penalties
