That team did not belong on the same field as us yesterday. Yes I know Taggart is maybe the worst HC in power 5 football and yes I knew going in FSU was extremely talented... but not that talented! Our staff is the best in the country. Period.

No. Well, yes and no......

Average star rating on defense:

Clemson 3.61
FSU 3.97

Avg. star rating on offense:

Clemson: 4.23
FSU: 3.73

They have higher rated LB's and secondary than we do. That's about it.

Wow this is kind of crazy to see. Clemson, Michigan, and Florida have the same number of blue chips but the rest of the top 15 all have more 4&5 stars combined than we do. Georgia and Alabama have an insane amount of talent on their team.

That is an overall roster rating---so most of that is Jimbo (by definition) as Taggart is entering his 2nd year.

day having a coaching staff that can identify and develop talent have a lot more to do with success than anything else. Clemson's current staff probably does a better job of developing talent than any other program in college football and is a big reason for our success.

The only decent thing I thought an announcer said yesterday was a play or two after Griese said it wasn’t lack of effort for FSU but lack of talent that was the difference. Steve Levy did pipe up with facts Dabo told him: FSU has had a higher ranked recruiting class than Clemson 5 of the last 6 years. Talent is not the difference it’s what you do with it.
