Maybe no one wants to be next to North Korea, just a guess though.

Fans complaining about a temperature on the plus side of zero? When I was "vacationing" in Korea during the winter of 1950 - 51, we were experiencing a minus 35 F, and that didn't include the wind chill factor. But, at minus 35 F, what's a few more wind chill factor degrees going to add to one's misery index?

I too remember that wonderful opportunity to vacation in Korea during that time. We “came into ownership” of a side of beef which was kept outside in a box. When the chow wasn’t to our liking we would saw of a piece to grill. You might enjoy a book entitled “The Coldest Winter” about that war.

I’ve been wondering that myself. Seems like a couple years ago everybody had short sleeves on.

Uh , that was the Summer Olympics .

Probably because the Winter Olympics are no big deal.

Feb 11, 2018, 6:39 PM

...especially having to fly to South Korea.
I didnt read deep in the article, bu spposedly the locals are also angry that the Olympics for some reason are killing their local shop businesses. I guess everyone that is there must be around the Olympic Village.
