Is the coaches poll as pointless as a samantha ponder gameday segment.
I mean its fun to look at but the information is worthless

Coaches poll is mostly comprised of grad assistants filling out their coaches ballot.

And the AP voters are mostly folks who cover their local teams/conference and/or catch highlights.
