Is everyone at work this early or like me couldn't sleep

Oct 18, 2019, 5:48 AM

Doctor put me on bedrest and all I have been doing is sleeping and have slept too much and now I can't. Bronchitis possibly turning into pneumonia is why he did it. Starting to feel better but not out of the woods yet.

That's tough but do what the doc said !
I am always up at 4:45 and working by 5:30 . Tugboat life is 24/7 while aboard .

Hope you feel better soon .

will help your recovery.

I rise daily between three and four a.m., grab a large mug of strong, steaming hot coffee and sit on a deck for an hour or so...seven days a week. Hence, why I'm usually on TNet by six or earlier, checking it out.

By the way, I often mix up a little orange juice and Vodka or hot coffee and bourbon to combat head colds, etc. The trick is knowing when to stop! Hopefully, you'll be up and at em in a few days.

I'm on the job! Hope you continue with recovery and get back to a better place. I could retire and listening to Hartins daily routine sounds pretty good...take care youngster.

This stopped me from heading to Louisville tomorrow morning. Was planning on driving down early and catching the game and driving back home afterwards. Would have been a long day, but I have done crazier things. Probably would have been at least 18 plus hours.

Drove to Atlanta and back once in a day after going there for the aquarium, won't do it again! Staying awake was a losing battle.

Used to be up every morning at 3:30 to get ready for work, I do not miss those days at all! Couldn't stay awake past 8PM without having to force myself nearly.
