Is Syracuse any good? Their fans are saying Clemson is overated

And they feel they will win since it's in the carrier dome. I know they beat wvu and Louisville last year do we have anything to worry about?

Always have to worry, that's why you play the game. Cant get behind or it will get loud. Dome is small but can be loud. Lets jump on them early. Different Cuse team this year without Nassib, Pugh, and others.

go to Syracuse.com and click on Syracuse/football.Not only do they say we're overrated but recently they talked about their new QB find--an untested guy who beat up Tulane and Wagner--as a Heisman candidate. You will also see comments saying they will beat up Tajh . Add to this the constant talk about "Clemsoning" and the loudness in that Dome(I've been there many times and it is loud but unfortunately for them--our offense relies on signals and cards) as though that will bother us. Apparently
they haven't seen us in a few years. Finally, they talk about the whipping they gave us in the 1996 Gator Bowl. They live in the past, always have and always will.
They lost a lot from last year's team, new coach, new systems, no speed compared to ours, they haven't
seen a HUNH offense like ours, their secondary is very weak (see the Northwestern loss), and they fancy themselves as playing "hard nosed" football which translates into they'll take a cheap shot if the opportunity arises. So tell me if we need to worry? I say not in the least. We will wear them down and dominate the lines just as we have done against Georgia and LSU! I see a score of 40 something to 16!

You need to worry that even more people from NY, NJ, Penn., etc., will want to move down here more than they already do. Honestly I can't really blame them.......I wouldn't want to live up there in that bitter cold either. As for the game, no need to worry about Cuse' till basketball season. I'd certainly give the Orangemen and Coach Beiheim(sp?) the edge on the court, but not against Dabo and company on the field.
