Holy moley- airfare from Tampa to Dallas is crazy

I am thinking of flying in the 28th and leaving the 30th.
Game tickets in lower sections can be had for sub 500 - no issues. But the airfare is 700 on American. I fly to dfw a lot. The normal rate for a 2-3 week out flight is about 300-400. 700?????
Ouch. Might be shedding a few family members.

Hate that we are not going to orange bowl. We should be - is ACC tie.

The Selection Committee didn't put UGA in but they couldn't handicap The Cash Cow Bama by having them play Chokelahoma in the land they own . . . Texas!

Flew it one time round-trip from Atlanta to Ft. Lauderdale. Seemed fine to me

keep in mind it's also smack dab in the busiest holiday season on the calendar. a lot of people will be flying in and out of Dallas for Christmas stuff.
