Is Gabe Devoe going to score this season?

He is like 0-20 from field and 0-4 from the free throw line. I do like his defense and he has a nice floor game. Maybe play him at PG off the bench and Roper can play off the ball to look to score?

Devoe was a highly regarded 3A player from NC, he averaged over 20 ppg and had a number of 30+ point games to be able to do so......why this kid has yet to have one go down during regualar time is beyond me--and probably the coaching staff too.....the future certainly felt good with him, Rooks and Grantham coming into the program.....One hopes that the light will suddenly go on for Gabe and bucket-fulls of shots will start falling....I saw several recruiting films of him last year and he looks very capable...

in HS, and pretty much from everywhere else as well. Rooks was a 3-point specialist - has he scored this year? Puzzling and frustrating.

devoe was pretty much only a scorer wasn't he? I was happy to have a shooter. I honestly have no idea about this program anymore.

There is a reason you have numbers like him in high school and Nc State, Duke , and Unc showed no interest. I am friends with guy that coaches against Gabe's hs and he kept saying last year that he was not a division one player much less an ACC type of player. I asked him the other day about Gabe and he said I told you he would have a hard time getting uncontested shots in College and that he would struggle. I still think a kid who could score 30 in a high school game could at least score some at any college. I do know that he was just about a 50% free throw shooter in hs so that stat may not be off by much.

he's looked a little bit better the last couple of times, but early in the season he seemed to have the deer-in-headlights look.
he needs something to happen to give him some confidence
as we all know, this team needs all the offense help it can get

3 point line), so you wonder if he is ever going to start scoring. I like Jordan and you have to start wondering if his medical condition hasn't inhibited his shot. Great young man - hope he gets untracked.
