with Jim Kelly, Vinny Testaverde, Bernie Kosar, and a guy who didn't get much playing time named Mark Richt, all on the same team. Seemed to work out.

Irrelevant, according to ESECPN, Tigers just got a 4 Star QB with the commitment of TL. They always right and totally unbiased

Another ESPN conspiracy? He is their #3 ranked junior. They don't give juniors the 5th star.

This group-think ESPN conspiracy behind every corner is getting out of hand.

Thanks for the heads up. I've only seen him ranked as a 5 star, but if that's ESECPN policy, then what can I say. Doesn't really matter what they or anyone ranks him, only matters how he plays. But I will keep the ESECPN rules in mind for future rankings. I really didn't know. Thx!

Reading the article, it comes to the conclusion that one of the highly prized recruits ends up transferring somewhere else. However, from the two examples given, it seems that things other than playing time caused the transfers in these cases. They don't offer up enough evidence to make any assumptions on the situation because these cases don't really fit what they are trying to say, which is that Clemson has these two now but probably won't hold on to both of them. Maybe that will turn out to be the case, maybe not, but I don't think any conclusions can be made from this article for such a case.

Huge character issues with Clausen and Newton

Not too much different from Chab Kelly.

None of the QBs currently committed or actually on campus at Clemson have demonstrated any of those sorts of problems.
