Focus on the prize... (fill in the Blank)?

The last time we played against these guys they beat us. The ACC Championship is one of this teams primary Goals. There is no room for as let down here. The Committee could have some difficult decisions to make Saturday night, and Clemson needs to take care of business or there could be a big issue.
I would like to see Clemson cover the spread and come out of the game healthy.
Regrettably, I expect:
- UGA to beat Bamma in a close game Saturday, - Oklahoma to win big - Ohio State to win Big - ND with their "special" status has no risk of being left out - Clemson (fill in the blank?)
If the above happens and Clemson wins, we will not be part of the committees "stomach churning" decisions as the Tigers will be solidly number 1 on the committees board and Bamma and ND get spots 2 &3.
That leaves only one spot up for grabs, who gets it? [Results]

it will be Clemson, Georgia, Notre Dame and OU.
Ohio State goes to the Rose Bowl and Bama goes to the Sugar Bowl

Ohio State and Bama get an invite to one of the other New Years Six games.
I do not think the committeee leaves AL out , unless UGA were to win big. I do not thionk that is likely.

I just don't think...

the CFP Committee would leave out a one-loss Power 5 conference champion (i.e., Oklahoma) in favor of a one-loss team that did not win its conference championship game (i.e., Alabama).
That would be setting a bad precedence.

Why is it a bad precedence? If best four teams (as I think it should be), then no problem putting a one loss Alabama into the CFP.
If most deserving - as I think is your thought - then I can see your point.
In the end, having just a four team CFP is stupid. Eight teams would give the "deserving" crowd the five "deserving" P5 champs and then the three left "best" can join to make the rest of us okie dokie.
I hope UGA wins and that tOSU and OU and the Big 10/12 fans go nuts. Anyway, I don't feel bad for them - the conferences voted to do things this way - now go lay in your mess.

In so doing...

the committee would be making a deliberate decision to omit two Power 5 teams that each won a conference championship in favor of a team that did not win its conference championship game.
Winning a conference championship is one of the main factors reviewed by the committee along with other considerations like strength of schedule, head-to-head competition, comparative outcomes of common opponents, among others.
Among the six teams in the mix, Bama at 55th has the lowest strength of schedule ranking.

I expect Bama, Clemson and Ohio State to win. Oklahoma, also, but probably gets bumped by Ohio State. That puts Bama vs Ohio State and Clemson vs Notre Dame. Oh, I don't think Clemson covers the spread, but hopefully, the game won't be a nail-biter either.

I think they double the spread, with all the negative drivel coming out of the media and some of the fans from last week. We put up 60 and would venture to say pitt dosn't score 10
