In your opinion, should this officer have gotten off?

Jul 13, 2020, 12:23 PM

He did. FYI. It's very graphic. White dude gets shot.

Make that involuntary manslaughter

Jul 13, 2020, 12:29 PM

And that guy should never have been a cop.

Unless he grabbed a gun.

That cop was way too high strung to be holding a gun.

it was disgusting and no, he should be rotting in a jail

Jul 13, 2020, 12:29 PM

The guy's pants were falling down and he dropped his hands and so someone in the jury sided with the cop.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

This is why you have cameras. Upon review, had this guy

Jul 13, 2020, 12:34 PM

not been shot, I would have removed him from service, desk job, meter maid, something benign.

Also, in all that time he should have called for backup instead of giving the guy 34 instructions. If backup was there, they should have covered the guy and the cop should have stood down.

Crazy what some cops have gotten away with.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

All i know is, if that dude was Black

Jul 13, 2020, 12:47 PM

that would've made this George thing seem like childs play

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Happened to a SCHP like a year or two ago...ok 6 maybe

Jul 13, 2020, 12:54 PM [ in reply to All i know is, if that dude was Black ]

Asked a guy for his license. Guy grabbed his wallet off the seat of his truck and was shot.

Since this was in SC, this is what happened:

Definitely. The victim looks a lot cooler.

Re: In your opinion, should this officer have gotten off?

Jul 13, 2020, 1:07 PM

I'd seen that a few months ago. No way he should have gotten off. He had the situation under control enough where he should have waited for backup to get there - no need to rush the situation. One could have approached him and determined that he was unarmed. As it was, his commands were all of the place. He should be in jail.

2024 white level memberbadge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

He had back-up there... There were other officers.***

Re: In your opinion, should this officer have gotten off?

Yeah, this video has made the rounds. The cop certainly has a corn cob up his a$$. As several folks said, there must be a dozen things he could have easily done to de-escalate and get the guy in cuffs.

But, again, we don't know the full context. What I read: Someone called 911 about people having a gun in that room (he had a pellet gun as part of his job). Also, apparently there was an event at the hotel or nearby. Putting 1 and 1 together, the cops have to assume the worst, so they were likely thinking there's a potential mass shooting being planned, like Las Vegas.

The guy answered that he was not drunk when the cop asked him, but looks like he may have been drunk to me. If he was, then it makes sense he was having trouble following directions.

He put his hands behind his back once, and the cop did not fire. He told the guy if he did it again, he would fire. Dude did it and got shot.

The cop's defense, while being hard to swallow, seems to be technically legit.

That cop should go to prison for life.

Jul 13, 2020, 4:20 PM

That's ####### horrible.

"DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME?"

'I was just trying to do what..'

"SHUT YOUR MOUTH."

Re: That cop should go to prison for life.

Jul 13, 2020, 7:03 PM

He's either caloused and filled with hate or chickenchit and filled with fear. You could tell the guy was scared chitless and had his nerves torn all to hail.

I believe the cop was more nervous than the victim. I think the cop was a coward with a gun and shot the guy out of fear for his life. He should never have been allowed to carry a weapon. I can't believe he wasn't convicted.

He's retired drawing full pay for PTSD... Will get over $2M

Jul 13, 2020, 8:19 PM [ in reply to Re: That cop should go to prison for life. ]

sitting on his axe by the time his 'retirement' runs out... His daddy was a big stick with the department before getting his law degree. Yep...

It is a white person, MSN has no use of that as it does not fit the narrative. There are a lot more but once again they fail to meet the narrative.

Same with the kid from Seneca. Shot dead cause he panicked and tried to drive off when cops showed up to a weed buy.

i'm not sure if its coz hes white or not, but could be.
It's weird how some of these get picked up and some don't. Elijah Mclain was not played much, and probably wouldn't even be brought up had people in CO signed a petition, and demonstrated, and had the case reopened

Here is the deal, until the MSN presents all cases of bad shootings broadly for all races their agenda is suspect at best.

Good question, I may go look that up. I do not watch Fox nor MSNBC as they are both morons and arrive at their respective positions from polar opposite places.
