In state talent

May 6, 2020, 4:09 PM

Why have the instate talent levels fallen off a cliff over the last few years? There are zero 4/5* guys in this class (per rivals) and it is looking like this Clemson won’t sign a sign instate kid in this class.

Brad Brownell: Only Larry freaking Shyatt has a WORSE overall winning percentage among Clemson basketball coaches since 1975. Let that sink in. It's Larry Shyatt & then Brad Brownell.

I heard it had something to do with the high school league limiting the number of quarters a kid can play in a given week. It used to be a an underclassmen could play JV on Thursday and dress for Varsity on Friday. Now coaches, will have underclassmen sit the bench just for varsity in case an upperclassmen gets injured. I believe this really hinders the development by limiting game time for many players.
