and IF you'd told me I was watching the 1981 Champions I would have choked up and laughed my head off.

Also, do you remember that NC Team having a difficult time with Tulane for awhile.

Saying..It takes timing, luck, and whatever to go all the way undefeated..and this 1981 was The ONLY ONE to do it.

Watched it and he wasn't born to the following Thursday and my wife "made" me leave them in hospital and go to game at DV.......saw 11 of 12.

freshman. A bunch of us went to a pep rally at the amphitheater Friday night before the Saturday of the game. The game was a night game Saturday in New Orleans. A few of us got fired up at the pep rally, went back to the dorm, chipped in for gas and took off for New Orleans. We drove all night and got to New Orleans in the morning, chipped in for one hotel room, took turns taking a shower and showed up at the Dome. That was a really tight game. Never thought that team would end Georgia's winning streak and win the Nat. Champioship.
