We actually won a close game that wasn't a bowl

Oct 12, 2014, 11:27 AM

Don't get why everyone is so down. This is the type of game we ALWAYS lose. We weren't up by 21 heading into the 4th and we still won. Let's be happy and move on. Because if we want to be a legit top 10 program every year, these are the type of games we're going to have to learn to squeak out the way we did.

I am pretty excited about how well the defense has played..

the last two weeks in particular. Special teams is getting much better including the play of Ammon Lakip. We can fix the offense issues if Coach Morris will adjust the playbook to Cole Stoudt's strengths and get the ball to Adam Choice more often. All around heck of a game yesterday and awesome job by the fans in the valley with the noise!

GO TIGERS!

And very happy DW is only out 3 weeks and should be back for GT. This could have been a lot worse.

Actually in the Dabo Swinney era we have a good record in close games

In 2010 we lost 5 games by less than 7 points.

I never want to see that again.

Yes, but we went from a coach that lost almost every close game he ever coached, to Dabo who wins more close ones than he loses. Bowden had something like a .1 winning percentage in games decided by a touchdown or less.
