and it was so cold that we started a fire on the blockaded street for warmth..

and then asked the other how we would recognize a Coot IF we encountered one..

and with no answer of intelligence from any of us green horns..we talked about getting some hot chocolate & upcoming hoped-for dates with hot Winthrop & Columbia College Wimmens!

I remember that 27 -0. Game played in Columbia. In fact, we never played the chickens in Clemson until 1962. Another win and I'm glad to say that I saw that first game in the Valley.
There will be many more starting this Saturday. Wish it was on the heat of the day

Because the Rat Caps were a thing of the past during my Clemson years, we only heard stories about those days. I love hearing anything about that history. Have to believe we lost something special without that unique experience. CU is an awesome place but our foundation set us up to become what we've become. I'd enjoy hearing your perspective.
