Of course there are people here who support that.
But I'd like to see them justify it without saying, "But what about (insert random Dem)?!"

He's also threatening Civil War.
The guy is a nut job who is mentally unfit for office. And so is every Republican member of Congress who still supports him.

If you're a Republican in Congress still supporting him for the sake of party after he's making these threats, accusing people of treason, and hinting at civil war, you've lost all integrity and support for our country.
Actually, that also goes for anyone on here reading this and still supporting this man.

many comparable presidential histories, but if you look at popularity among some past presidents, you might choose Reagan, or someone like Kennedy. Yes they could be polarizing figures, but they were fundamentally good people, understood servant leadership, had good ideas to support their respective platforms, and were willing to engage with other lawmakers and the general public on the issues.
Trump is none of that. He is abjectly dishonorable and generally misbehaves at every turn. If he were your boss, you'd be looking for another job. If he worked for you, you'd fire him. If he were your family, you'd scold him and try to correct the behaviors. Why go to the mat for someone like this?

A couple years ago I said that I hoped Biden had run instead of Hillary, because he actually may have gotten my vote.
Now? He scares me worse than Trump. Dementia is setting in and he is so populist and willing to take on socialist platforms and appeasements that I'm not sure what we are getting. I can see this being another no-vote year for me.
The moderates in the Dem base (I know there have to be some left) need to step up and tell these mental midgets on the far left to sit down and shut up. It's like 2016, except the Dems have come up with candidates with even less mainstream appeal.
It wouldn't matter this year, but if trends continue, I'm not sure how a third party candidate who espoused fiscal discipline (Ross Perot style), realistic immigration reform, pro-capitalism, and socially liberal policies wouldn't have a realistic shot.

I gotta disagree with you there my friend, Obed is pretty even handed. He and I don't agree on some things but he's not a hack.

Agreed. Except I would like a whole lot of the Dems to shut up, starting with Schiff.

I'd vote for that guy/gal. Lordy, if we could de-emphasize the extremities of both parties, we'd be in a much better place.

The whole Democrats need a moderate candidate to win in 2020 thing is a sham. I think Trump has exposed a lot of conservative policies for what they are because he's so transparently awful. Just look at his spending and tax policies, just a grift for the rich.

I too do not like the idea of Biden except for only one reason: Removing Trump. After that, just not a huge fan for the reasons you listed.
