I think if he runs the ball on that play he gets stopped... that d-end was coming for him....that was perfectly called and ran play... put the ball in the money hands... Hunter got hands for days

I think that was his intentions on the previous drive. Man that 15yd run to the goalline, was probably my favorite play of all time(been a fan since the 60s)--other than CJ's jock loser against GT. All Herbie could say was "my Gosh". I have heard several say that when he took off they thought of the VY play.

i was dreading us running the ball on that defense it that situation

Would have ended the game and they're probably the best tackling defense in the last 15 yrs. throw it quick and hope u have time left. That Bama defense has great closing speed.
