Now that the golden age of USC football has come to an end,

it seems the only thing they have to really show for it is the 5-game streak over us. And since I hate for USC to have anything positive, I was thinking about many USC fans were saying early in the year that "plays that used to go our way are now going the other way" and how a few plays here or there may have prevented the streak.
First, there's Jaime Harper's fumble early in the 2009 game. I think their spirit would have been crushed beyond recovery had we scored on that drive to go up 14-0.
Second, in 2010, we gave them second life on their first drive with a pass interference call on third down. Later, we fumbled a punt inside the 10 that led to a TD. There was also the pick-6 toward the end of the game, but the outcome was decided by then.
I'll give them 2011 and 2012.
In 2013, the Sammy pass, and it was downhill from there.

trend. Ok they had a 7-6 season but that doesn't mean anything right now.

I look at what they have now and what they have coming in ... that tells me and anyone else that the ##### are soon back
to 6 to 8 win seasons. The old days are back for them . The horse shoe has been removed and worse still is
the chicken curse is back...

Your "golden age" consisted of two things....10 win seasons and beating us....
Both of those feats are now over with, therefore, signalling the end of the aforementioned "golden age"

East is getting better, Clemson is getting better, they don't have the star talent they used to have, Spurrier becomes more senile by the day, etc, so on and so forth.
