You guys do not get private insurance will only be for the well off. Taxes will have to rise a lot across the board leaving Joe Sixpack no money to buy it

Private HC basically offsets the losses of Medicare.

We need to ditch government restrictions on HC services. Many services are hindered by a Certificate of Need (CON) process to prove their business is viable. If it threatens a local hospital system, they down the doctors in legal proceedings and force them out.

is that the federal government has no standing to be involved in healthcare. It should be strictly a state/local issue, except as it impact inter-state commerce. So I think the Federal gov should have a law stating that insurance companies can compete across state lines and then get out of the issue entirely.

Not in favor.

Tweak ACA to fix shortcomings and allow more private participants. The state by state approach seems counter-productive also - the lack of competition can only serve to limit options and thus create innate inefficiencies and higher costs. However, I am in favor of expanding Medicare via the ACA provisions.

This is America, and even though we're getting severely ripped off by the healthcare industry, its insurers, and big pharma, and have been for decades, people should have flexibility and options for their personal providers. For those looking for numbers, healthcare costs amounted to 5% of our GDP in 1960, and 17.6% today, and is a massive factor in increasing household debt.

I would also like to see more resources available within all of these options for natural healing practices versus the medical industry, which is a most powerful and influential lobby and guider of national policy, much to our disadvantage.

Considering there used to be only a handful of pharmacies in any community, and now there is one on every other block, are we really that much more healthy as a society today as a result?
