Coots mad that Clowney got a fine for speeding & Tajh didn't

Dec 10, 2013, 4:37 PM

Tajh was going 84 in Kershaw County (I-20) and Clowney was going 110 in Columbia( I-77). Im assuming that the speed limit was 70 for Tajh like it was for the Clown. 14 over is much more justifiable than 40 over. That fan base just loves to complain.

I'll bet Clowney's car wreaked of Gonja too!!!

I tend to believe the law frowns upon speeding, regardless

Dec 10, 2013, 4:40 PM

of the "over."

At least that's what they've told me every time I've been stopped....just saying. lol

Im not saying its ok to speed but

Dec 10, 2013, 4:44 PM

you can't disagree with the fact that people go 14 over on the interstate and all the time and not get pulled over/ticketed. 40 over is much more dangerous/obvious to cops.

Here's the difference -

Yeah...the "just keeping up with the speed of the traffic"

excuse doesn't work either.

It sure as he!! didn't work for me...

when I got stopped on I-95 in south Georgia back in June and believe me, it wasn't for lack of trying on my part.

I was laboring under the (apparently) misinformation

Dec 10, 2013, 4:41 PM

that being stopped for speeding 25+ mph OVER the speed limit was an automatic arrest. It is in most states and I thought it was in SC as well.

I want to thank the person who called Korncoot's show and asked if they were going to do an FOI request for the dashboard camera from the state trooper's car who stopped Doo-Doo. Pointless to mention the request had never been made and there were no plans to do so.

Now, if I had to pay the ticket, I'd be pissed.

I'm betting JayZ will cover it for him....

Dec 10, 2013, 4:47 PM

especially if Clownney has already pi$$ed-away the money he received for selling his signature to memorabelia dealers.

Who's complaining? But I think you need to get the facts straight, Clowne wasn't in Columbia.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Imagine hitting a brick wall going 14mph vs 40mph

Dec 10, 2013, 5:08 PM

40 mph was how fast the Clown was going IN ADDITION to 70. Coots can bury their heads in the sand...they're use to it...
