If you're Elliot & Stoudt is your QB, what play do you call

1st play of the bowl gane?
I think he should let Cole wing about 40 yards downfield and get his confidence up instead of making him throw those hard-to-complete in routes and button hooks.
I think this has been the problem all along.

I'd call for a punt.

It would catch them off-guard and give their offense horrible field position. Plus, there's no chance for a pick six.

I would have Stoudt turn and face away from the defense. That way when he throws an interception. They will return it for six points for us.

Have him take a knee...chances of him screwing that up are low..

Er.....can we make that 50 yards instead?
Dec 7, 2014, 9:13 PM

I just think over 50 yards (or the under 5 yard shovel thingee to Artevis) is the way to go here. 6 to 49 yards is just kind of a slippery slope......

I think those lateral screen passes with the occasional down field shots to keep the defense honest. Hammer the running game and see where it goes from there. Will be a great test for Tony but the real test will rebuilding Cole's confidense in the bowl practices. Cole is not as bad as he played this year.. when you arent confident as a QB, you will be a INT machine.

Line Scott up at QB Gallman behind him have Hopper or Williams come across for touch pass read the defense and either use the sweep to WR or run the speed option with Gallman
