Read the column that was written in todays “Charlotte Observer” by Ron Morris regarding the college playoff system.

Coaches Saban and Cutcliffe explain their take on the playoff.

I believe there will be added pressure put on some coaches at premiere programs to ‘catch up’ to Bama, Clemson and a few others who dominate the polls right now. Recruiting is going to be even more fierce in the coming years because that is the only way to catch up in the talent pool. The Tigers are in good shape in this regard because coach Swinney has laid a great foundation to keep our program in the top group. It’s going to get tougher but we should all feel good about where we are now.
