No, because the 49ers won the Super Bowl in '82

which makes the "Clemson only wins if the Patriots win" thing bogus.

Yeah it says the Pats need a new qb. Brady has been great but age is catching up with him.

Not a Pats fan here at all . . but this season was not about the problems Brady has. It is all about the receiver issues the Pats have.

So WR is more critical group than OL...

Jan 4, 2020, 11:55 PM

Deshaun seems to be in the opposite situation.

They should have listened to us and drafted Hunter Renfrow when they had the chance. ??

Are you insane? The Patriots have awful receivers outside of Edelman and 0 rushing game. Despite that, Brady took them to a 12-4 season. He was still #7 in passing yards and had a better touchdown to interception ratio than all but 6 players (Lamar, Wilson, Drew Brees, Wentz, Rodgers, and Mahomes). He's still phenomenal and is better than almost all of the young superstars (better than Mayfield, Murray, Goff, Darnold, and yes, Deshaun). And this is only the second time in the last six years that the Pats missed the Super Bowl. He's a victim of his own success, because people know he's the GOAT and expect him to be first in every stat even when his team kind of sucks at the moment.

It's over for the cheatin' Patriots. Their QB is done. Their WRs are done. Their TE is done.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Belicheat quit cause he knows that they are gonna suck for a while as they try to rebuild that team. Their days are over.

Path is open for Deshaun

If the Texans don't get him killed . . .

Jan 5, 2020, 12:02 AM

Yep, that O line is terrible. Deshaun has to immediately take off after the snap. Can you imagine a stand in the pocket QB trying to run that offense?

It is. It means the old dynasties are over (pats and bama). And the new (Clemson) one begins, now.

To date: the champions after Clemson won it all...

1981: Clemson fball, 49ers NFL, UNC bball
2016/17: Clemson fball, Patriots NFL, UNC bball
2018/19: Clemson fball, Patriots NFL, Virginia bball

Based on previous trends it will be:
Clemson fball, 49ers NFL and Virginia bball
