Either he has decided to go to usc and therefore, no need to visit Clemson.
Or, he has decided on Clemson and won't visit so he does not let the cat out of the bag.
If he has decided on usc and still visits Clemson this weekend, we can all rest assured he was playing Clemson all along. But I don't really think that is the case.

I think he can come in this weekend and do anything he wants. If I were him I'd come in and enjoy a whale of a game and a great weekend at a great place. If he doesn't come, it may be because he just doesn't want to have to face the reality that he has chosen poorly by committing to a losing program and a poor school. I think he is smarter than to choose them. They have nothing to offer him, except being a bottom feeder in the sec and maybe a diploma from somewhere nobody cares about.

Why wouldn't he visit? A ticket to the Clemson/UNC game would be worth it for me. Does he have to pay for the ticket if he is visiting? How does that work?

From what I gather , the ticket is free. He has to pay for everything else on an unofficial. (gas, room, board,etc.)

I think he is yanking Josh's chain. He hasn't even decided whether he is visiting Clemson again or not. Besides that, we all know that kids can make decisions and then change their minds...even after they've revealed the decision.
