But he isn't a SEC type player, and these SEC schools wanting a ACC type player, again they prove that an sec type is just Bull Crap, a real SEC type players are the players that will visit the county lock up at least once in their SEC career as a player!!!

dgcannon39 is this board’s version of a little yippy dog that wades into the room, drags its posterior across the white carpet, then moves on to the next room to do the same.

Yeah, I hope he doesn’t get banned. Coots like him serve as cheap entertainment. I remember the days when they were saying they’d never lose to us again lol. Two National Championships later, they still manage to wonder into the Tiger pit. To see this little fledgling flap around on the floor with no hope of taking off puts a smile on my face. Just climb on to the Bama tree and screech from its limbs little coot...that’s all you’ve had, have, and ever will have...

Hope you are right. Going to a hated rival would be awful. No Clemson fan would pull for him.

It depends on if he is leaving angry or not. He would get a lot of playing time and a lot of media coverage.

If TF goes to cootville or Bama this system is broken.

TF will be “hated” by any real Clemson fan.

This is just stupid, and anyone who doesn’t think so is as delusional as all the Democrats.

Insanity!!!!!!

Oh, and leave your NC rings before you leave.

I wouldn't hate a kid for going there , that's a dumb thing to say .
There's all too many nice endings with this rule for any player to not want to take advantage of it .
But hate TF ? You're out of the reality circle .

Somehow, I seriously doubt he'll go to USuC. I hope he values his time here more than that. I'll pull for him on just about any other team, even bammer, as long as he doesnt go to the sewer and he doesnt play us. Im thinking VT or Texas. But hate him...no. The USuC fans can have all the hate. And somehow, they cant win......

And the #28 retired jersey patch that C.J. Spiller approved him wearing. Time will tell about the "Portal". I'm not a fan.

We stuck with this guy through his injury problems, and now this. But fortunately, we have much better backs coming into the pipeline, and a much better one on the team right now-----read Travis Etienne. Adios Feaster. Don't let the door hit you on the ### on the way out.

I do not like this Portal thing . I however understand. Being on the bench sucks. I know first hand. Finally got to start my Sr year. This also shows desperation on saban/ muschamp. They want our playbook. Hate to see ANY of these players leave. It is their right and it is their choice. Let's respect these young men as they grow through life. Life is full of choices. Did we make ALL the right choices...... ? Just my opinion we all have one. Be blessed Goooo! Tigers!

Re: TF is not upset with CU or the staff

I don’t think he will but when I lived in Spartanburg it was his senior year and a friend of mine who was friends of his family said the whole family was gamecock fans and he was torn at one point on where to go. Don’t know how true it was but still wherever he goes I wish him well. I’d personally want to play under a great offensive mind in Lincoln Riley in Oklahoma. Plus oklahoma usually competes for a spot in the playoffs so that equals more spotlight. In Columbia they usually compete for the Cottonell Toilet Bowl year in and year out and can’t even win the bottom tier bowls

Re: TF is not upset with CU, but on a side note

Posted: May 10, 2019 9:41 PM

I have lived in Spartanburg for 41 years, ever since graduating in Architecture from our beloved Clemson University. I noticed from the get-go that people here, especially from Spartan High, historically have been, and are yet, very pro-USuC. Dorman High, their West Side rival, has traditionally been very pro-Clemson. But I just can't believe that Feast would ever transfer and play for the Coot-lumbians. I would actually enjoy watching him play for 'Bama and just tear it up on the field - until we play them again in the CFP.

Go Tigers!!!

No O-Line = Few rushing yards for running backs

I think Feaster is too smart to go be a Scar back.

I just don’t get it. KB will start for Missouri, but does he actually think he’s going to be more successful there against SEC defenses? Same goes for Feaster if he goes to UofSC! Why not go to East Carolina or some place like that where you can not only start, but be The Man and light up the league? Sure, it’s against lesser competition, but I saw a bunch of guys picked early in the NFL draft this year who played against lesser competition in college!

Why say former RB, can he not still return at this point

Posted: May 10, 2019 7:34 PM

I thought when you entered the portal you can still return that he doesn't have to leave if he changes his mind

he doesn't want to return that's why he is transferring

rivals. Clemson players should not be going to SCAR. Tavien Feaster has an NFL future with Clemson. He doesn't have to bail. How often do transfers of RBs actually result in first round picks?

It must have more to do with pride than anything else.

Can any of you imagine

what the Tiger Defense would do to him in November? He does not need to go to a team Clemson will play!

although as said already, I also recall him dealing with the choice

Posted: May 10, 2019 9:40 PM

Of Scar and CU due to a number of his family wanting him to go to Scar. But I think (hope) now that he’s got blood in the game and is a Tiger and graduated, I don’t think he goes to Cootville. Guessing Mizzou offers and he goes there and plays with KB. Just a hunch.

Think it would be a better idea for him to go to OU though. More notoriety for the world to see his talent, and running against Big12 defenses.

Re: although as said already, I also recall him dealing with the choice

Posted: May 11, 2019 2:35 AM

He has Not graduated. Expected to graduate in August and THEN transfer and adjust. Good Luck.

This whole portal thing has really started

[2]
Posted: May 10, 2019 10:11 PM

to have an NFL vibe to it...especially considering the teams that have showed interest in #28 part deux. It coincidentally seems to be all the teams we either (1) will face this year or (2) have a decent chance of facing in the postseason. Kinda seems like an NFL move of picking up players on waivers to get inside intel and then discarding them.

I don't like the portal or the 4 game rule

[1]
Posted: May 10, 2019 10:55 PM

I think there's too much gamesmanship going on now with something that started out with good intentions. Coaches and teams already have enough to worry about without dealing with this stuff too.

That's pretty funny when a guy that may have ended up

third on our depth chart this year would be USC's "best rb since Mike Davis" and their best get of this 2019 cycle. That just shows the talent disparity now between these two programs.

He would most likely be ahead of Lyn-J

Posted: May 11, 2019 2:22 AM

Feaster is really good. There's a reason Bama is offering him too.

Re: He would most likely be ahead of Lyn-J

Posted: May 11, 2019 2:41 AM

Bama takes JC and "Senior" transfers all the time. The entire SEC does. The Swinney Model has Two National Championship wins and a good chance for four in the last four years. It's plenty good enough for me.

4 in the last 4 years? Wut?***

He may not start at Bama,

Posted: May 11, 2019 8:42 AM

I'm not sure who they have, but i bet anywhere will be a culture shock compared to Clemson.

Re: He may not start at Bama,

Posted: May 11, 2019 8:19 PM

Bama only wants him for our offensive playbook. So when we meet them again in the playoffs they are going to scheme against us. I would say the same for the colts but we can tell them every play we are running and they stil won’t be able to stop us!

"Former Clemson RB?" Isn't he still on the team as of now?

Posted: May 11, 2019 2:21 AM

Entering the portal doesn't mean he is definitely transferring. He could technically still change his mind and stay on the team I'm pretty sure.
