. . . . . . . who is in this man's corner saying he will be an NFL QB. Totally assuming "if that's the reason he wants to start so bad"!
If it's about just wanting to play the game and get all the cheers and the glory that comes from being the starting QB - OK! Go for it. If you haven't done it as a passer at a high level in college!

Isn't McCarron still playing in the NFL?

I know he was a backup to Andy Dalton in Cincinnati and started a couple games a few years back when Dalton was injured. I think he went to a new team after last season as a backup.

Woody Danztler didn't make it, either, our own 2000/1000 player. In two years in the NFL he was a WR, safety, and kickoff returner and only ever had a few snaps as a QB.
