A nice thought. It's voting has become such a joke of an award though I'm glad in a way he isnt associated with it

So ask yourself this; Would you want it if you didn't win it?
I wouldn't.
If the Heisman Committee didn't think that highly enough of me to "award " me the trophy, I wouldn't want someone buying it for me, and I certainly wouldn't buy it for myself.

Just for Deshaun. It was Petrino that left Lamont Bugeyes in late during blowouts for no other reason than to run up scores and pad his stats to give him the early lead in the Heisman race...

That award should have been Don Macpherson’s anyhow. By far the best player that year.

The Heisman: the award for the most hyped college football player. (The Hypeman trophy).
Missing on Deshaun twice just adds to a long list of embarrassing misses.
