We had a run of 7 wins in a row back in the 30's or 40's. I guess I don't know if redshirts were a thing then but I would have to assume you could probably play your entire college career then. That said there are probably some that have 5 or maybe even 6 if they went to grad school.

No, freshman couldn’t play, so you only played 3 seasons in 4 years. I don’t think freshman could play until the late 60’s.

But did Chicken Hunter play his freshman year? So if not based on what you are saying he couldn't include year 5. I like that he will have been on the team during those 5 years but I would think it was highly likely players were on the team for 4+yrs during that 7 game stretch. Maybe not but if they had a major change or went to a grad program they would have been. That was a different era so I could be totally wrong also.
We have a few players this year though that will have the same scenario. Either way, let's get #5 and we can figure out how many then!!

all of these young men deserve a standing ovation for being Clemson Men through all of the highs and lows of the last 5 seasons; of course there were few lows but there were a few...

We should certainly "disrespect" the Coots and call a time out with a few seconds left to take these guys off the field. That should become a Tiger tradition.
