If FSU hires Scott or Elliott would that

Nov 4, 2019, 7:17 AM

Benefit or hurt our offense to only have one offensive coordinator. I think it could be a benefit to have one coordinator running the offense. But which one would you rather have as the one offensive coordinator Elliott or Scott?

I think they should hire Brad Scott, he has SEC coaching experience.

I don't think it would hurt, or help, but if I were going to keep one I'd probably keep Jeff because of his Dad's connections to both states.

Which of the two would be a bigger loss? It feels like we need Scott's recruiting.

They might want to look at Chad Morris's situation

It's ok to have dreams and want something better but a lot to be said for stability and what is truly better over a lifetime

Do you really think that our coaches want to leave...they have all already had chances and turned them down...It might happen sooner or later but if you are really worried then you may not understand what we have here at Clemson that separates us from everyone else..maybe in the nation! A safe consistent place to raise a family...a cohesive coaching staff, great kids to recruit, a faith based program where the head coach is not afraid to announce his faith on TV in front of a national audience after winning the Championship! Let me know when you see that anywhere else! Quality of life means more to some folks that a pot of money or the praise (or damnation) of being a head coach at a major program!

FSU is NOT going to hire an Assistant Coach/Coordinator...

Nov 4, 2019, 8:19 AM

They can't afford to make the wrong hire again, so they are going to be looking specifically for an established coach with a track record of success.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

If anyone hires Elliott or Scott, Streeter would be promoted to take their place. The Co-coordinator thing on offense will keep going I think. I think Coach Swinney likes having one on the field and one in the booth and that makes sense. You need eyes in both places.
