the vindication of Brad Scott - you seriously cannot read that and think that Brad Scott didnt leave clemson better than he found it. Ive been tough on the guy in the past about his oline coaching acumen, but kudos to him for this and all the other recruiting accomplishment stories we'll probably never hear.

BS is a great recruiter, and I believe he is a very good man. I am very proud of the quality recruits he has signed over the years. I do not believe he was a very good OL coach, and our OL play over the years he coached bare that out. He is in a very key role now, and I am sure he will continue to represent us well in the recruiting arena.

Losing coach Scott was the worst thing that has ever hurt the coots. And I Love it. Sammy is going to make the coots hate him even more. And all of us Tigers has to love that even more. The way to go coach. You have done us very proud with Sammy!!!

Sammy's a great player, no doubt about it. But I'd say Coach Scott has been an outstanding coach for Clemson with or without Sammy. And no offense to Sammy.

This article speaks volumes about "them hills" and this staff. I haven't had this warm feeling about Clemson football in a long time. The future is so bright, let's be "all in" for this team and staff!

sums of cash. Had nothing to do with the fact that Sammy fell in love with Clemson and bonded with the coaches and players, as well as seeing that Clemson was on the rise. Nah, couldn't have been that.

decent football coaching on dozens of teams out there. They know, probably more than most of us due to their "street smarts" how to read someones bluff. Integrity in these recruiters create a culture with these high school programs of trust. Sometimes these workout and sometimes these bridges are damaged (Byrnes-Korn). I'm glad to see we are genuinely trying to get the best players by doing it the right way! Go Tigers!

T turned to a friend and said, "D@mn...did you see that!" All he could say was, "Holy Sh!t...Holy Sh!t" And the best part of that is the fact that we've had a lot of opportunities to say that not only about Sammy but a lot of the other guys! I'm d@mn proud of our Tigers!

David, excellent article! Why can't the newspapers of SC display fine journalistic pieces such as this. Fantastic stuff, I love our coaching staff. Please, after the Orange Bowl, keep us updated on the status and progress of our beloved CU footballers, and coaching staff.
