...and then pull 'em.

I could care less if we win by 1 as long as we don't get anybody hurt today. (Mind, we aren't going to win by 1, not against El Cid.)

I'd like to see extended runouts for DJU and Taisun Phommachanh, play some pitch and catch with the younger receivers, let our younger linemen line up and thump, and let the younger RB's run.

I want to look over and see Trevor, Etienne, Jackson Carman, and Amari sipping pina coladas on the sideline by the second quarter.

Style points count for exactly squat this year...especially since the SEC doesn't even start until next week, and it'll be a month after that before we see the B1G show up and try to shoehorn eight games in on frozen fields as winter hits in just two months. In the Northeast. If the Pac-12 starts, I'm not sure how they're even going to see the ball through all the smoke...so "style" is really not on the menu for 2020.

Me: let's build some depth today. Seeing as how 2020 has already seemingly been about 10 years long, we're likely going to need it before it's done.

Starters could be hurt on the first play of the game. This is a chance for them to build their stats in the first half and 1-2 series of the second half. They have practiced, worked through the COVID protocols and deserve the opportunity to play and enjoy the game today.

One thing about these option team’s, they will run the clock. Even if they don’t get first downs they will be disciplined to let it run, limiting our possessions.
