IF he got a call - should Babers think about leaving CUSE?

As Dino Babers looks ahead as SYR HC, he knows (proof last week vs N.Dame) when Dungy's gone, it could be back to hard times at CUSE.

Meanwhile - great job getting 8 wins this year - maybe 9 after playing BC this Sat.

But they've been really scrambling for a QB to replace Dungy. Finally got a kid who was going to Houston, but now has committed to SYR. He might work out - some day - but a Dungy is tough to find.

Just wonder IF a decent job comes up, would Dino be wise to consider it? Only thing is, seems the current possible openings for him would be Louisville & Maryland - and that's IF they call and could be - at best - lateral moves. Other schools might be looking later.

If the right school wants him, should he "get while the gettin's good?"

I was thinking the exact same thing. He has our number for some reason and I would rather he be somewhere else!

Maryland could stay in house and give the job to Canada. I'm sure they know the current situation isn't a desirable one for most outsiders. The smart move may be to see how things work with what they have. The players played hard for him this weekend after all the recent controversy so it seems they would support him.
