I think we're going to win this regional

Vandy IS NOT deep with pitching. They have 2 really good starters and they're finished for the series.
We win these 2 games today somehow..... we WILL win tomorrow.
We just need SOMETHING good to happen.... The luck has to change. We are just on the end of too many bad ( non strike calls ) by the umps here recently which have led to big innings..
Friday we won but you could cut the tension with a knife.
If it were me....this is what I would do for the rest of this series.
1. Weston Jackson has no business playing....sorry
2. Only play Beer at DH
3. I know it's crazy, but I wouldn't start Krall. I would use him as the #1 guy coming out of the pen. Pitch Beasley or Gilliam the first few innings ( 3-4 ) in this 1st game. Pitch Jackson vs vandy tonight.... he has been good, not sure why we haven't seen much of him.
4. Loosen these guys up a little and change the lineup some.
5. Remind theses guys we're in OUR HOUSE.....
I know it doesn't sound logical, But I feel good about winning this regional

Vandy is heavy right hitting.... The matchup is better for him then Krall

A LOT of teams who lack deep pitching have beaten the Tigers in recent weeks. It ain't the pitching!
The hitters lack confidence in their ability to hit any pitching. None of the Tiger pitchers can pitch effectively with NO run support. It ain't the pitching!
It ain't the umps! I have yet to see any ump bat with the bases loaded and strikeout on pitches in the dirt.
I can't remark on Beer. He hits mistakes and that's it. Bat him first where there may be less pressure to hit a home run but he has that mentality and it's not going to change I don't believe. If he could hit pitches where they are pitched he would be a total hitter. He isn't. Not even close. For sure he doesn't need to own a glove!
There is enough talent on this team to be Vandy and UNCG so perhaps our luck will change. I've never been real high on luck however. If you are talented and approach the game correctly you can make your own luck.
I really like Greene and Davidson. Cox is a very impressive fielder and Byrd is better at third than anyone we have had in years. Good infields win games.
No comment on the catching!

Jackson is not a reliable option against vandy. You have to win first today and krall probably is our best choice.

We are not that deep with pitching either,and we would still need to beat them twice.
I don't believe in luck.
And your not Monte.
So just like last season,I don't have that same feeling.

Westin Jackson has struggled much of the year but he is hitting just as good as anybody in our lineup right now. Yesterday was rough but it was for a lot of other hitters. Beer cant duh right now because Rohlmans ankle is bothering him. But I agree that we are going to win this regional for the reasons that you stated Vanderbilt doesn't have great pitching left and they have tattooed the ball two games in a row and I don't see them doing that for a third straight game.

Just didn't see a reason to give up. Clemson just needed some things to go their way, luck has not been on our side.
