I've been reading the Post and Courier since the 60's and it has evolved into jr. publication of The State. They are some coot lovers big time. Carievello is their coot beat writer and he has a story every day and sometimes 2 a day. Meanwhile the Clemson beat writer has only one every two days or so. Brenner was a decent journalist but he was somewhere like Oklahoma. He was not a Clemson man whereas Carievello is a died in the wool coot.

Every one has their own opinion but the coverage has only recently improved since they could no longer overlook Clemson sports stuff. Go back a year ago and their sports column was coot oriented. They did not even cover their local teams, C of C, CSU, or The Citadel like they should. Sapakoff, their sports director, is a big time SEC homer. They also have a weekly column by Kornbutt.
