Possibly the #32 you see running @ 1:47-1:52, 2:13-2:18, 2:43-2:46, 3:15-3:20, & 3:42-3:47? According to the roster, #32 is a kicker and a DB...don't see it being them, so possibly Tyshon in another jersey? Not sure who that is otherwise...

nm...just got a good shot...seems to be #82. But I thought Green was injured? So hmmm...wonder if it is Dye.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I think #32 is CJ Davidson

Aug 8, 2013, 7:44 PM [ in reply to Re: Where's Tyshon? ]

A walk on running back. Not sure if Dye got injured or what.It was more of a blocking drill for the WR so maybe they didnt want someone his size barreling through there and rolling one of the receivers or corners up . There was also no DJ Howard in that video who would also be considered a tougher runner although probably not as physical as Dye.

Roster has CJ listed as a defensive back.
http://www.tigernet.com/clemson-football/player/CJ-Davidson-291.

Wonder why they'd have a DB in there, unless the rosters have it listed wrong...

Howard is at 1:20-1:25

ah, the clemsontigers.com says DB/RB, so guess it could be CJ....interesting.

SO yeah, I'm like you now...where's Dye? lol

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I'm not sure that we have a Spiller or Ellington talent-wise

Aug 8, 2013, 7:21 PM

at RB (not saying that we don't), but I'm very confident that we've got at least 3 or 4 RBs who have the physical tools and ability to be very good this year.

Gallman is lookin good

Aug 8, 2013, 7:33 PM

The more I see Gallman, the more I like him. Look at the :45 mark, look how he makes some cuts and patience he has before turning on the jets. I know this is different from full on scrimmage or game, but he seems to have the tools. Glad to see the W drill again, coaches must've read my comment yesterday, hahaha.

Bolware and BJ Goodson are going to be good

Aug 8, 2013, 7:38 PM

Both of them consistently beat blocks and hit the ballcarrier, normally stopping them in their tracks. Also Robert Smith looks like a ball hawk. He sees the ball and explodes to the carrier.

Hot Rod definitely looked the most experienced

Aug 8, 2013, 7:42 PM

He's got some wheels, looks like he follows his blocks, and uses his hands to keep defenders at bay. He looks like a clear cut starter imo.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Agreed. We are in good condition with our RBs***

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Yeah, I was impressed by Hot Rod there.

Didn't see Dye in any of that. Wonder why.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Only saw 4 rbs the whole drill

Hot Rod, Gallman, Davidson, and Brooks.

No sign of Dye, Howard, or walk-ons Goode and Johnson

DAT BLOCK

Aug 9, 2013, 10:44 AM

@ 3:41. Holy freaking crap, somebody got trucked right from the whistle. Who WAS that? I saw a "6" on the jersey, but didn't see the other number.
