That basketball would be a much better sport if these questionable calls became no calls and let the game move on! Basketball is a physical game and these touch fouls and bumps and pushes should never become a part of the game. It's impossible for players to adjust to the officials calls as the game is played. It just is wrong when the referee determines who wins and the play on the court is ignored.

As I evaluate the NCAA tournament typically let’s them play. I feel like it is new life for better teams such as Clemson that get stuck with poor conference officiating. Don’t the best (or better) crews typically move on to NCAAs?

I agree with that. Hopefully the best crews do move on. I wonder if the coaches have a say so on ‘who is the best’.

To me, basketball is one sport where true athleticism is really important. I’m not convinced that the officials are capable of keeping up with the game for forty minutes. Maybe we need to have subs for the officials!
