I would support firing Brownell

if I felt confident that the administration would hire a proven winner and our fan base would support doing so. I have little confidence in either one when it comes to truly wanting to compete at a high level in basketball.

I like Brad a lot, so unless I'm convinced otherwise that Clemson is serious about consistently supporting basketball, it's better to stick with Brad and hope he can turn the corner. I think he's close.
