According to my sources 64% of bet tickets accounting for 63% of total money wagered is on clemson. We are a public favorite at this point, contrary to the perceived disrespect this board likes to scream about.

We really talk about the MEDIA and the absolute disrespect they have for our program, not Vegas or who actually places money on us. The media makes more money and keeps their "yes man" jobs as they attempt to keep CLEMSON out of the CFP.

Before the matchups were released he said that everyone didn’t want to play Clemson and if the matchup had to happen, they much preferred in the finals.

I think your assumption on confidence is correct in people’s real life take vs hiding behind a keyboard.

When it comes to a marquee game like this, betting dollars go far beyond the fan bases of the individual teams. For this Fiesta bowl, Clemson/OSU fans are a relatively small percentage of amateur bettors. Also, dispassionate professional bettors have a huge impact on moving the initial spread because of the large dollar amounts they lay down.
