the following reasons:
1. I like White tops, orange pants, but I think the all white is the best.
2. We wore white tops and orange pants in Tampa. Rather we win or lose this game, I don't want to always have to look close at pics to determine if the pic was from the Tampa or Santa Clara game.
3. If we lose, the white top/orange pants look will not have been wiped out as the winning natty uniform vs Bama.
4. If we win, then this natty team will have their own look.
I really wish they had decided to wear all white. Guess its too late now.

One day we will look back and have multiple championships with all sorts of combinations: white/white, white/orange, and orange/orange -- we won't be able to tell any of them apart!

You just blew my mind. I can’t believe I have never contemplated this.
Personally don’t like that look and glad we haven’t done it since the TB days. The orange tops purple pants was even worse, an abomination.
