I never had the privilege of meeting her but

Jul 24, 2018, 8:57 AM

from what I have gathered, she was a great and passionate lady that loved people. When I hear that, it reminds me that God’s Word says that they will know you by the way you live and love others. So, I hope she was one of His and is now with our Lord and Savior. Assuming that, the article title kinda just didn’t sit right with me, that the last thing written about her has the word “lost” in it. She has not lost a battle to cancer, as that was never HER battle to win or lose. We are in His hands and when we love Him, our battles are never fought alone. Again I am hopeful that she has won, sitting with Jesus having finished her work here on this planet.
Blessings!
And of course
Go Tigers!

Sad news takes me back to ‘79-80

Early college days. 6’0 male, plenty of testosterone, and young and dumb enough to believe I could hang with or beat many or most of the Lady Tigers’ hoops team. But not Barbara Kennedy. Watched her play and knew better. Sympathies and prayers to her family and close ones ...
