I feel the league took a step back ..
I wish we do have more computive games
and nail biting games for the purpose of building
Our team and recruiting..
I know we doing good on recruiting but if I am
Top notch player and I can play in the SEC right away, I am going
there majority of the time

No, you got it all wrong. The league didn't take a step back, The Alabama Conference took a step forward.
You see the conference formerly known as the SEC is now the eSECpn, and all their schools are far superior to Clemson, which is the only school in the ACC that features those nail-biting games you brought up, that is until we decide to stop pussyfooting around and play.
See Alabama doesn't need to recruit because they are the Patriots of college football, with the best coach in college football according to what I saw this morning on eSECpn, so we will never be able to out recruit Bill Belichek Jr.
So, of course, all these kids that want to play in the Alabama Conference go there the majority of the time, but they don't necessarily play the majority of the time.
But their games are competitive, not computive, which is why our league took a step backward.
