you are a coot but the light was installed to help the refs in situations like this. The light and clock are identical with sound of buzzer. Ever heard of Speed of light and speed of sound?

tough for me to understand? no one outside of Clemson has said this was a bad call. I haven't heard one national media outlet say so, and the announcers for the game were split in their opinions - which would tend to show it was inconclusive
