I know been covered ad nauseum but

Jan 7, 2019, 12:46 PM

My best friend and their entire family are trying again today to get across from Salt Lake to the game. They tried yesterday and besides the fact that the snow/ice was terrible there was a fatality that closed the road. They are back on the road this morning and roads, at this point, are passable and moving at a steady speed.
They are buying tickets when they get there and I’m trying to help them determine the best tickets for the Clemson tickets. Had no problem from Charleston to Salt Lake where her brother lives. And highway patrol is saying the roads are open.
They have about 200 miles so if roads hold they should be there around 1:00-1:30 today.
Isn’t there a pep rally or something outside of the stadium?
I know lots of questions, where best tickets not in a booth, parking, tailgating or pep rally.
Any hell appreciated

Did they make it?

Shouldn't be hard to find tickets - get on stubhub.

Jean, wish I could help, but I'm staying home. Quite an adventure for you, driving that far.

At large games like this there is a StubHub Convince Center right across the street from the stadium, where they can purchase tickets. Highly recommended. Last thing they want is to make it all the way there after the trouble and by fakes.

THEY MADE IT OVER THE MOUNTAIN

Jan 7, 2019, 5:45 PM

It took about 4 1/2 hours. Wanting 9 tickets together they ended up
Paying 500.00 a piece. Stub hub across from stadium didn’t have them, the went somewhere else and they went up 75.00 in one hour so they bit the bullet and got them. They have a house they rented and are changing into game gear and heading to the stadium. Anyone still heading that way they are steady grading the roads. The mountains are a little slushy but no problems. Go Tigers!! Everyone be safe
